Cernilton forte is a herbal preparation for the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia; promotes the regulation of metabolic processes, has anti-inflammatory, anti-edema, antiandrogenic effect.

Release form and composition

The drug is produced in the form of capsules: size 00, solid, transparent, dark green, the contents of the capsules are light yellow powder [50 pcs. in glass bottles of dark color (additionally sealed in plastic film) or polyethylene opaque white bottles, in a cardboard box 1 bottle and instructions for use of Cernilton forte; 2500 pcs. in double plastic bags and a polyethylene bag, in a fiber drum with a lid and a metal closure ring 1, 2, 3 or 5 bags].

1 capsule contains:

• active ingredients: Graminex G60 (water-soluble fraction of microbiologically fermented extract of pollen from rye, corn, timothy grass) - 120 mg; Graminex GFX (fat-soluble fraction of microbiologically fermented extract of rye pollen, timothy grass and corn) - 6 mg;
• auxiliary components: colloidal silicon dioxide, microcrystalline cellulose, maltodextrin 10DE, calcium dihydrogen phosphate, calcium stearate;
• composition of the capsule shell: sodium-copper chlorophyllin, hypromellose.

Pharmacological properties

Cernilton forte is a phytopreparation for the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia, has an anti-inflammatory and anti-edema effect, helps to eliminate pain syndrome and regulate metabolic processes.

The mechanism of the anti-inflammatory and anti-edema action of the drug is due to the property of the active components to inhibit cyclooxygenase and 5-lipoxygenase. Inhibition of these enzymes slows down the synthesis of prostaglandins and leukotrienes (mediators of inflammation of the arachidonic acid cycle), which helps to reduce inflammation and edema of the prostate tissue.

The drug has a muscle relaxant effect, the manifestation of which is the relaxation of the smooth muscle cells of the posterior wall of the urethra and the improvement of urination.

Cernilton forte helps to improve erectile function, has an antiandrogenic effect. As a result of inhibition of 5alpha-reductase, the volume of the prostate gland decreases. Selectively blocks alpha1-adrenergic receptors of cells of smooth muscle tissue of the urethra.

Indications for use

The use of Cernilton forte is indicated in the complex therapy of the following diseases:

• benign prostatic hyperplasia;
• acute and chronic prostatitis;

Contraindications
