Prolit is a combined plant biologically active additive (BAA) to food, a source of tannins, tannins, organic acids, potassium; has a uroseptic effect, improves the functional state of the urinary system, and has a positive effect on metabolism in urolithiasis.
Release form and composition
The spill is produced in the form of pills weighing 225 mg (100 pieces in plastic bottles, one bottle in a cardboard box).
Active ingredients in 1 pill (as extracts):
- kidney tea (Orthosiphon aristatus) leaves - 27.038 mg;
- sow thistle (Sonchus oleraceus) leaves - 27.038 mg;
- curly silkweed (Strobilanthes crispa) leaves - 24.58 mg;
- Phyllanthus niruri herb - 24.58 mg;
- imperates cylindrical (Imperata cylindrica) rhizome - 12.29 mg;
- cubeb pepper (Piper cubeba) fruit - 3.687 mg;
- papaya (melon tree) (Carica papaya) leaves - 3.687 mg
Auxiliary components: turmeric - 3.465 mg, glucose - 98.32 mg, sodium bicarbonate - 0.275 mg, methylparaben - 0.04 mg.
Pharmacological properties
Spill is a natural uroseptic preparation with the following effects:
- pronounced antibacterial, increasing the effectiveness of antibiotic therapy;
- analgesic, anti-inflammatory and antispasmodic;
- diuretic, by improving glomerular filtration;
- reducing the frequency of exacerbations of the disease.
The pharmacological effectiveness of Prolit is provided by the properties of its active components:
- leaves of Strobilanthes crispa (kejibeling, or curly silk): effective in preventing the formation, dissolution and excretion of calculi from the urinary tract; have a diuretic, anti-inflammatory and antispasmodic effect; prevent the appearance and stop attacks of renal colic; thanks to biologically active substances accelerating epithelization, they contribute to the rapid regeneration of the damaged mucous membrane of the urinary tract; have a pronounced antioxidant and immunostimulating effect;
- fruits of Piper cubeba (cubeb pepper): are used for the treatment of acute and chronic inflammatory diseases of the urinary system, such as cystitis, urethritis, prostatitis, nephritis, due to their bactericidal and anti-inflammatory properties;
- Phyllanthus niruri herb (phyllanthus niruri): has a pronounced antibacterial and antiseptic effect, promotes the dissolution of calculi in the kidneys, reduces the tone of smooth muscles and disinfects the urinary tract;
- leaves of Orthosiphon aristatus (renal tea, or staminate orthosiphon): a strong natural diuretic, the diuretic effect of which is accompanied by increased excretion of uric acid, chlorides and urea from the body; improving tubular function, it enhances glomerular filtration; remains effective in the long-term treatment of acute and chronic kidney diseases, accompanied by albuminuria, azotemia, edema and the formation of calculi in the kidneys;
- leaves of Sonchus oleraceus (sow thistle): anti-inflammatory, diuretic and tonic effect; effective for inflammation of the urinary system;
- rhizomes Imperata cylindrica (cylindrical imperates): have diuretic and hemostatic efficiency; are used to treat (prevent) inflammation of the bladder, urethra, chronic hepatitis, renal and cardiac edema;
- leaves and peel of green fruits of Carica papaya (papaya, or melon tree): used as an anti-inflammatory, immunomodulatory and antioxidant agent; papaya enzymes inhibit the activity of prostaglandins, lysozyme, haptoglobin, bradykinin and other inflammatory mediators; improve microcirculation in the area of inflammation and help reduce local edema.
Indications for use
According to the instructions, Prolit is recommended to be used at the initial stages of prevention and complex therapy of infectious and inflammatory diseases of the kidneys, urinary tract and urolithiasis (to remove sand and small stones).
Contraindications

- individual hypersensitivity to any of the components of the supplement.
Instructions for use of Prolit: method and dosage
Spill pills are taken orally, with meals.
Recommended dosage for adult patients: 5 pcs. 3 times a day. The duration of the course is from 3 to 6 weeks.
If necessary, the dosage is selected; due to the special form of release, a single dose can vary from 1 to 5 pills.
