Proctosedil includes hydrocortisone, framicitin, heparin, benzocaine, butamben, esculoside.
Hydrocortisone is a glucocorticosteroid that relieves inflammation and allergy symptoms.
Framycetin is a topical antibiotic that suppresses the activity of Klebsiella, Enterobacter, Shigella, Proteus, Salmonella, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, some strains of streptococci and staphylococci.
Heparin is an anticoagulant that prevents blood from clotting.
Benzocaine has an analgesic effect and is intended for topical use.
Butamben is an anesthetic that has analgesic and antipruritic effects.
Esculoside is a substance that reduces capillary fragility.

Proctosedil is prescribed for the treatment of anal fissures, perianal eczema, fissures of the rectal mucosa, proctitis, acute external or internal hemorrhoids, postpartum hemorrhoids. Also, the drug is used to eliminate itching in the anus.

Proctosedil instruction: method of application
Rectal suppositories Proctosedil are used daily, one suppository is administered in the evening, in the morning and after each act of defecation.
The frequency of application of the ointment is the same. The agent is applied to the anal area, to those areas where pain or itching is felt, or injected into the anus using a special applicator.
Proctosedil ointment and rectal suppositories are used no more than a week.
Side effects of Proctosedil

Contraindications
