It helps to optimize energy metabolism, stimulates the repair processes in case of dystrophic lesions and pathological conditions occurring with a sharp violation of metabolism in the structures of the eye.
As a sulfur-containing amino acid, taurine normalizes the function of cell membranes, improves metabolic and energy processes, preserves the electrolyte composition of the cytoplasm as a result of the accumulation of potassium and calcium ions, and improves the conditions for the propagation of nerve impulses.
Pharmacokinetics
When used topically, systemic absorption of taurine is negligible.
