Release form and composition
Dosage form - ointment for external use (15 and 20 g each in plastic cans with screw caps, 1 can in a cardboard box).
Active ingredients in 1 g of ointment:
- camphor - 70 mg;
- menthol - 60 mg;
- eucalyptus oil - 30 mg;
- turpentine oil –20 mg;
- thymol - 15 mg.
Auxiliary components: white petrolatum, white beeswax, butylhydroxytoluene, butylhydroxyanisole.
Pharmacological properties
The drug has a local irritating, analgesic and anti-inflammatory effect.
Indications for use
According to the instructions, Suprima-Plus is used as part of the complex therapy of inflammatory diseases of the upper and lower respiratory tract, accompanied by a cough, a feeling of nasal congestion and a runny nose.
Also, the ointment is used as an external symptomatic agent for muscle pain.
Contraindications

- tendency to bronchospasm;
- children under 2 years old;
- hypersensitivity to the components of the ointment.
Ointment Suprima-Plus is not recommended to be applied to the wings of the nose and used for inhalation.
Instructions for use of Suprima-Plus: method and dosage
In case of inflammatory diseases of the respiratory tract, Suprima-Plus ointment should be rubbed into the skin of the back and chest 2-3 times a day.
For muscle pain, the product must be applied to the painful area. For a more pronounced effect, it is recommended to cover the area with a warm bandage.

Suprima-Plus can cause skin irritation at the site of ointment application, allergic reactions, bronchospasm.
