Samprost is a medicinal product of animal origin for parenteral use, used in the treatment of diseases of the prostate gland.

Release form and composition

Dosage form - lyophilisate for preparation of a solution for intramuscular administration: lyophilized mass in the form of powder, lumps or tablets, from white to white with a yellowish tint (10 vials with lyophilisate in a cardboard box; 5 vials with lyophilisate and 5 ampoules with solvent in complete with a scarifier or ampoule knife, 1 set in a cardboard box; each box also contains instructions for using Samprost).

1 bottle with lyophilisate contains active ingredients:

• a preparation of polypeptide nature, extracted from prostate tissue of sexually mature bulls and bulls - 5 mg;
• glycine - 10 mg.

1 ampoule with a solvent contains a solution of isotonic sodium chloride 0.9% - 2 ml.

Pharmacological properties
