Keltikan complex is a biologically active food supplement (BAA), an additional source of folic acid and vitamin B 12, containing sodium salt of uridine monophosphate; in diseases of the spine and peripheral nerves, it helps to restore the damaged structure of nerve fibers.
Release form and composition
Keltikan complex is produced in the form of capsules weighing 205 mg (10 pcs. In blisters, in a cardboard box 2 or 4 blisters).
1 capsule contains:
- active substances: uridine monophosphate (in the form of sodium salt) - 50 mg; folic acid (vitamin B 9) - 0.4 mg; cyanocobalamin (vitamin B 12) - 0.003 mg;
- additional components: microcrystalline cellulose (filler), silicon dioxide hydrate, magnesium stearate, iron oxide red dye, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (capsule shell).
Content of active ingredients in 100 g of the preparation: uridine monophosphate - 18800 mg; vitamin B 9 - 150 mg; vitamin B 12 - 1.128 mg.
Pharmacological properties
Keltikan complex promotes the regeneration of damaged nerve fibers in pathologies of peripheral nerves and spine. The biogenic element uridine monophosphate, cyanocobalamin and folic acid, which are part of the dietary supplement, activate the body's own recovery processes.
Uridine monophosphate is required to repair damage to nerve fibers. According to documented clinical studies, with lesions of peripheral nerves, the need for pyrimidine nucleotides, such as this coenzyme, increases. As a result, the intake of uridine monophosphate as part of a dietary supplement is of great importance for the regeneration of nerve fibers. In the process of metabolism, the biologically active substance ensures the restoration of the main components of the membranes of the nerve cell, and also supplies the damaged neurons with a sufficient number of enzymes.
