Lexin is a semi-synthetic antibiotic.

Release form and composition

Dosage forms:

• Powder for preparation of 60 ml of suspension (in bottles, in a cardboard box 1 bottle complete with a measuring spoon);

The active ingredient of Lexin is cephalexin:

• 1 ml of suspension - 25 or 50 mg;
• 1 capsule - 500 mg.

Indications for use

The use of Lexin is indicated for the treatment of infectious diseases caused by microorganisms sensitive to the drug:

• Osteomyelitis;
• Prostatitis, urethritis, cystitis, chronic and acute pyelonephritis, bacterial vaginitis, endometritis;
• Bronchitis, tracheitis, pneumonia;
• Furunculosis, abscess, lymphadenitis, erysipelas, pyoderma;
• Sinusitis, pharyngitis, otitis media, tonsillitis.

Contraindications

• Breastfeeding period;
• Individual hypersensitivity to drug components and cephalosporins.
