Levosin is a combined agent for external use, which has anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, anesthetic, regenerating effect.
The drug contains sulfadimethoxin, chloramphenicol (chloramphenicol), methyluracil, trimecaine. The basis of Levosin ointment is water-soluble polyethylene glycol.
Chloramphenicol is active against streptococci, meningococci, staphylococci, the causative agent of gonorrhea, colibacillus, hemophilus influenzae, salmonella, shigella, klebsiella, serration, yersinia, proteus, spirochete.
Sulfadimethoxin acts on Shigella, colibacillus, hemophilic, plague, Vibrio cholerae, Clostridia, causative agents of Siberian ulcers, diphtheria, Chlamydia, Toxoplasma.
Methyluracil has an anti-inflammatory effect, accelerates cell regeneration.
