Pharmacological properties
Pharmacodynamics
Indigal Plus is a biologically active food supplement, the combined composition of which helps to suppress the stimulating effect of androgens and the death of prostatic cells with abnormally high proliferative activity. The drug has a pronounced anti-inflammatory, antiproliferative, antiandrogenic, antioxidant and antiexudative effect, which is due to the combination of the properties of the active components.
The antiandrogenic effect of the product is based on the ability to inhibit the activity of androgen receptors and does not adversely affect the patient's sexual functions, in contrast to the antiandrogenic effect of drugs, which cause a decrease in the level of dihydrotestosterone.
Inhibition of type I 5-alpha reductase by sabal palm fruit extract causes impairment of the transition of testosterone to dihydrotestosterone, which stimulates the proliferation of prostate cells. Extracts of green tea and plants of the cruciferous family are antagonists of androgen receptors, suppress their expression at the genetic level.
The simultaneous action of the three components at the molecular level slows down the pathological growth of blood vessels accompanying cell hyperproliferation.
Antiandrogenic, antiproliferative, vasoprotective activity of the drug promotes the regression of hyperplasia, reduces the symptoms of benign prostatic hypertrophy.
The antibacterial and antioxidant effects of the active components of the product, their ability to inhibit the synthesis of pro-inflammatory cytokines, prostaglandins, enzymes and transcription factors provide it with anti-inflammatory and antiexudative effects.
