Release form and composition
Dosage form - tablets for resorption: flat-cylindrical, with a bevel, on one side there is a risk and the inscription MATERIA MEDICA, on the other side - DIETRESSA; the color of the tablets - from almost white to white (20 pcs. in blister packs, in a cardboard box 1, 2 or 5 packs).
Composition for 1 tablet:
- active substances: antibodies affinity purified to the type I cannabinoid receptor (applied to lactose in the form of a mixture of three active aqueous-alcoholic dilutions of the substance, diluted 100 12, 100 30 and 100 200 times, respectively) - 0.006 g;
- auxiliary components: microcrystalline cellulose, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate.

Pharmacodynamics
Diet directly through the mechanisms of allosteric modulation sensitizes the type I cannabinoid receptor, as a result of which its sensitivity to endogenous cannabinoid neuropeptides increases. The result of this action is the normalization of the endocannabinoid regulation of the mesolimbic system, including the food center in the hypothalamus.
Experimental studies with the introduction of the drug to animals confirm the rejection of self-stimulation of the lateral hypothalamus, indicating that the system of positive emotional reinforcement is saturated, the euphoric significance of food decreases, and body weight gain (even under conditions of a high-fat diet) is reduced.
Taking the drug has an inhibitory effect on the course of obesity: food consumption decreases and weight decreases, while higher nervous activity is not stimulated or inhibited. Weight loss occurs not only due to the work of the central, but also due to the function of peripheral mechanisms: modulation of cannabinoid receptors in fat cells (adipocytes) and acceleration of metabolic processes in them.
The drug does not cause drug dependence and addiction; it does not have a narcogenic effect on the patient.
Pharmacokinetics
The study of the pharmacokinetics of the drug is technically impracticable due to the insufficient sensitivity of such modern physicochemical methods of analysis as high-performance liquid chromatography, gas-liquid chromatography, chromatography-mass spectrometry. It is not possible to assess the content of ultra-low doses of antibodies in tissues, organs and biological fluids.
Indications for use
Diet is recommended for use in overweight or obesity I – II degree with a body mass index ≥ 25 kg / m 2 for long-term therapy in combination with a moderately hypocaloric diet.
Contraindications
- children and adolescents up to 18 years old;
- hypersensitivity to any component of the drug.
Instructions for use of Diet: method and dosage
The tablets are taken orally, without swallowing, but holding in the mouth until they are completely dissolved, 15-30 minutes before meals.
Recommended dosage: 1–2 pcs. per appointment, per day - up to 6 pcs.
It is desirable to combine treatment with a moderately hypocaloric diet. The duration of the course is up to 3 months, if necessary, it can be extended.

Overdose

Patients with glucose-galactose malabsorption syndrome, congenital galactosemia, congenital lactase deficiency are not recommended to take the drug, since it contains lactose monohydrate.
