Release form and composition
- Solution for intravenous (i / v) and intramuscular (i / m) administration - colorless transparent liquid, may have the smell of acetic acid (1 ml in ampoules, in a blister strip of 5 ampoules, in a cardboard box 1 or 2 packs);
- Lyophilisate for preparing a solution for intravenous and intramuscular administration is a white amorphous powder or a mass of porous structure, the presence of the smell of acetic acid is allowed (5 ampoules in a blister, 2 packs in a cardboard box).
The active substance is dalargin:
- 1 ml of solution - 1 mg;
- 1 ampoule of lyophilisate - 1 mg.
Excipients of the solution: acetic acid, sodium chloride, water for injection.
Pharmacological properties
Pharmacodynamics
Dalargin is a synthetic hexapeptide and analogue of leucine-enkephalin. It belongs to proteolysis inhibitors and ensures the healing of gastric and duodenal ulcers. Tyrosyl-D-alanyl-glycyl-phenylalanyl-leucyl-arginine diacetate is characterized by moderate antisecretory activity. It also helps to reduce the acidity of gastric juice and inhibits the external secretion of the pancreas, which manifests itself as a reaction to various stimuli (food intake, secretin, etc.). The experiment, which involved patients with pancreatic lesions, confirms that Dalargin reduces hyperenzymemia, limits necrotic foci and promotes the regeneration of full-fledged tissue in their place, and also reduces the production of proteolytic enzymes by the pancreas. Besides,the drug has a weak hypotensive effect.

Indications for use
According to the instructions, Dalargin is indicated for the treatment of the following diseases in the acute phase: duodenal and / or stomach ulcer, pancreatitis, pancreatonecrosis.
Contraindications
- Acute infectious diseases;
- Pregnancy period;
- Arterial hypotension;
- Hypersensitivity to drug components.
Instructions for the use of Dalargin: method and dosage
Dalargin in the form of a solution and a lyophilisate is administered intravenously or intramuscularly.
To use the lyophilisate, the contents of the ampoule must be dissolved in 1 ml of isotonic 0.9% sodium chloride solution immediately before administration.
Dosing of the drug in the treatment of acute forms of the disease:
- Duodenal ulcer and stomach: single dose 1-2 mg, daily dose - no more than 5 mg, total course - from 30 to 50 mg. The treatment period is 21 to 28 days;
- Pancreatitis: in / in 2 mg, then 5 mg 1 or 2 times a day, for 4-6 days;
- Pancreatic necrosis: 5 mg 3 to 4 times a day is injected intravenously, observing uniform intervals between procedures. The period of therapy is 2-6 days.

- Cardiovascular system: arterial hypotension;
