Brest complex is a biologically active food supplement (BAA) used for the treatment and prevention of certain diseases of the female genital area.
Release form and composition
Dosage form - capsules weighing 600 mg (60 pieces in plastic bottles).
Composition of 1 capsule:
- flaxseed powder (partially defatted) (Linum usitatissimum) - 267 mg;
- calcium glucarate (calcium salt of glucaric acid) - 75 mg;
- pomegranate extract (Punica granatum) - 75 mg;
- Kudzu root extract (Pueraria lobata) - 50 mg;
- lutein (5%) - 24 mg;
- curly griffin (Meitake mushroom) (Grifola frondosa) - 4 mg.
Component properties
- flax seeds: contain up to 50% oil rich in polyunsaturated fatty acids (including omega-3), organic acids, up to 30% protein, as well as mucus, which have anti-inflammatory, laxative and enveloping effects;
- calcium glucarate: is an indispensable component of the detoxification process of estrogens and some toxins in the liver, removes a number of xenobiotics from the body, including those with a carcinogenic effect, regulates hormonal balance in women and androgenic activity in men, reduces the incidence of breast and colon cancer, lungs, skin, prostate in men;
- pomegranate: contains up to 25% tannins, alkaloids, bioflavonoids, minerals, sugars (including mannitol), punicin glycoside, gallic and betulinic acids; has a pronounced anti-inflammatory and oncoprotective effect;
- Kudzu root: rich in protein and starch, contains saponins, flavonoids, isoflavones and their glycosides, which have an estrogen-like effect; reduces pressure, reduces blood viscosity, relieves spasm of cerebral and coronary vessels;
- lutein: is a natural carotenoid, the main pigment of the macular retina; has a pronounced antioxidant effect, suppresses the processes of lipid peroxidation, including those caused by exposure to ultraviolet rays of daylight;
- curly griffin (Meitake mushroom): rich in polysaccharides (P-1,6-glycans); has a pronounced adaptogenic and immunostimulating effect, selectively inhibits the development and growth of atypical cells and stimulates the activity of macrophages that destroy them, has a general strengthening effect in diabetes mellitus, hypertension, secondary immunodeficiency and chronic fatigue syndrome.
Due to the components included in the Brest complex:
- has a pronounced antioxidant, oncoprotective, detoxifying and hepatoprotective effect;
- has an antimitotic and estrogen blocking effect, especially in the presence of hormone-dependent tumors;
- restores hormonal balance;
- regulates the work of the female reproductive system.
Indications for use
Brest complex is recommended as a biologically active additive - a source of lutein and tannins - for the treatment and prevention of certain diseases of the female genital organs, including:
- premenstrual syndrome;
- dyshormonal disorders;
- some forms of infertility;
- fibrocystic and other types of mastopathy.
Contraindications
- pregnancy;
- lactation;
- individual intolerance to the components of the product.
Recommendations for use
The supplement should be taken orally with meals.
Usually prescribed 2-3 capsules per day.
