Indications for the use of the drug Biopin

Biopin according to the instructions ointment 5% is prescribed:

  • With trophic ulcers;

For the treatment of trophic ulcers, non-healing wounds and bedsores, 5% ointment is used.

For the treatment of diseases of the skin and subcutaneous tissue of a purulent and inflammatory nature, 10% ointment is used.

For the treatment of post-traumatic diseases of the musculoskeletal system and diseases of an inflammatory nature and the peripheral nervous system, an ointment of 20% is used.

Biopin ointment is applied to shallow wounds. Before use, it is necessary to mechanically remove the wound derivative and thoroughly rinse the wound surface. After that, sterile napkins or gauze bandages with ointment are applied to the wound.

If the wound is found in an area that is inconvenient for bandaging, it is possible to use a bandage or adhesive plaster. When applied to a wound, a layer of ointment should exceed the circumference of the affected area by at least 5 mm.

Dressings should be changed every day. The dosage of the drug is approximately 2 to 5 g per wound with a size of 50 * 50 mm.

For dermatoses, Biopin 10% ointment is used in combination with other drugs. A thin layer of ointment is applied to the affected skin areas several times a day. The skin should be treated with an antiseptic before application.

The ointment is used for herpes after treatment with acyclovir. The drug is applied in a thin layer several times a day to the affected areas.

With psoriasis, the ointment is used as part of complex therapy twice a day.

For the treatment and prevention of mycosis of the hands and feet in order to accelerate the healing in the area of the nail bed after onychoectomy, to restore microcirculation in the tissues, as an antifungal therapy, 10% ointment is prescribed additionally on gauze napkins.

In the treatment of neuralgia, myositis, osteochondrosis, 20% ointment is used. It is rubbed along the spine and muscles. The course of treatment is from 7 to 14 days.

Psoriatic arthritis is treated by applying 20% ointment twice a day using a bandage for one week.
