Helps to slow down the development of traumatic or toxic cerebral edema. It has antioxidant properties, prevents lipid peroxidation of cell membranes, the formation of free radicals. It has a dose-dependent effect on the walls of blood vessels, dilates small arteries and increases the tone of veins. It normalizes the ability of neurotransmitters (dopamine, norepinephrine, acetylcholine) to bind to receptors, as well as the period of their release, re-absorption and catabolism. Improvement of metabolic processes in tissues and organs contributes to the accumulation of macroergs in cells,increasing the use of glucose and oxygen, as well as the ordering of mediator processes in the central nervous system.
