Morenazal is a solution of Atlantic sea salt containing natural active substances that help cleanse and moisturize the nasal mucosa.
Release form and composition
Morenazal is produced in the form of a nasal spray (sterile solution of natural sea salt without preservatives and chemical additives): a colorless, transparent, salty odorless liquid (20 ml and 50 ml in polyethylene bottles).
For 100 ml of solution, there are 1080 mg of sea salt, in terms of absolutely dry matter.
Isotonic solution composition:
- sodium (Na) ≥2.5 mg / ml;
- magnesium (Mg) ≥0.35 mg / ml;
- calcium (Ca) ≥0.008 mg / ml;
- potassium (K) ≥0.1 mg / ml;
- bicarbonates (acidic salts of carbonic acid H 2 CO 3) ≥0.03 mg / ml.
Additional component: water for injection - up to 100 ml.
Pharmacological properties
Spray Morenazal was developed for the complex treatment of rhinitis, as well as for regular moisturizing and cleansing of the nasal mucosa.
Micro- and macroelements in the composition of an isotonic solution of Atlantic sea salt with daily use act as follows:
- remove excess mucus containing allergens, pathogenic microbes, viruses, dust particles, and other products of inflammation with rhinitis, soften and remove crusts from the nasal passages;
- help to soften and remove scabs formed after surgical interventions in the nasal cavity and paranasal sinuses, without the risk of bleeding;
- moisturize the nasal mucosa;
- contribute to the restoration of normal nasal breathing with rhinitis.
Indications for use
- complex therapy and prevention of chronic and acute inflammatory processes in the nasal cavity, paranasal sinuses and nasopharynx of an allergic, infectious, atrophic nature (chronic and acute sinusitis, including sinusitis and frontal sinusitis; adenoiditis; rhinitis, including vasomotor and allergic);
- complex therapy and prevention of dryness of the nasal mucosa in people living in unfavorable climatic conditions, staying for a long time in rooms with central heating / air conditioning, drivers of vehicles, smokers, workers in hot / dusty workshops;
- complex therapy and prevention of respiratory infections in the autumn-winter period;
- preparation of the patient for the introduction of drugs into the nasal cavity;
- the recovery period after operations in the nasal cavity and paranasal sinuses;
- daily hygiene of the nasopharynx and nasal cavity to maintain the protective properties of the mucous membrane.
Contraindications
- age up to 1 year;
- hypersensitivity to components.
According to the instructions, Morenazal is allowed for use during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
Instructions for use of Morenazal: method and dosage
Spray Morenazal is intended for daily intranasal use.
Recommended dosage for complex treatment (number of injections into each nostril):
- 1-2 years - 1 injection / 2-4 times / day;
- 2-7 years - 2 injections / 4 times / day;
- 7-16 years old - 2 injections / 4-6 times / day;
- > 16 years old - 2-3 injections / 4-8 times / day.
Recommended dosage for hygiene and preventive procedures (number of injections into each nostril):
- 1-2 years - 1 injection / 1-2 times / day;
- 2-7 years - 1-2 injections / 1-3 times / day;
- 7-16 years old - 2 injections / 2-4 times / day;
- > 16 years old - 2-3 injections / 3-6 times / day.
The preparatory process and the washing procedure are carried out in compliance with sanitary and hygienic norms and rules.
The sequence of washing (for children under 2 years of age, the procedure is carried out in the supine position):
- Tilt (turn a child under 2 years old) to one side.
- Open the bottle with the drug.
- Press 1–3 times on the bottle, directing the tip into the air, until the solution appears.
- Carefully insert the anatomical tip of the spray nozzle into the base of the nasal passage located on top and inject the drug into the nostril the required number of times.
- Remove liquid flowing from the nostril with a handkerchief or cotton wool.
- Repeat the injection procedure for the other nasal passage.
Side effects
No side effects have been identified with the drug.
Overdose
At the moment, there are no reports of cases of overdose of Morenazal.

When using Morenazal spray, you can not:
- Inject if the bottle is damaged or its integrity is broken.
- Use spray for other purposes.
- Sterilize the spray tip.
- Apply the solution if you are hypersensitive to its elements.
- Use the drug at the end of the expiration date.
Application during pregnancy and lactation

Drug interactions
Since Morenazal does not have a systemic effect on the body, its interaction with other drugs has not been confirmed.
