7 home remedies for gallstone disease
Gallstone disease is caused by metabolic disorders. It occurs when an excess of cholesterol or bilirubin is formed in the body, which are normally excreted in the bile through the intestines. As a result, bile becomes thick and viscous, crystals are formed in it, which then grow together. Small stones and sand can come out through the biliary tract, but calculi with a diameter of more than 1.5-2 cm usually accumulate in the gallbladder, and sometimes clog the lumens of the ducts, provoking the development of inflammation. According to statistics, such processes occur in the body of every tenth inhabitant of the Earth, and women get sick five times more often than men. At risk are people who are obese, lead a sedentary lifestyle, excessively addicted to alcohol, fatty, fried, smoked and salty foods, living in unfavorable environmental conditions, having severe chronic diseases or a hereditary predisposition (gallstone disease in a family history).

In most cases, the disease is asymptomatic for a long time. Sooner or later, very unpleasant symptoms appear: pain and heaviness in the right hypochondrium (aggravated after eating fatty or fried foods), indigestion, chills, sweating, fatigue, irritability. Changes in stool color, as well as yellowness of the mucous membranes and skin, may be observed.
Gallstone disease in the early stages is treated with therapeutic methods, in other cases, surgical intervention is required. It is especially unpleasant that even the removal of stones from the gallbladder does not guarantee recovery: if the cause of the disease (metabolic disorders) persists, the probability of relapse is almost 100%. Therefore, for people suffering from gallstone disease, it is especially important to follow a special diet and periodically take medications that help improve liver function, normalize the composition of bile and increase the tone of the gallbladder. Such medicines can also be prepared at home.

The course of treatment is 2 weeks, after a 7-day break it is repeated. Juice prepared with a stock can be saved by adding vodka to it in a ratio of 8: 2. The mixture is kept for 2 days, filtered and poured into a glass, well-sealed container, which is placed in the refrigerator. Take the remedy in the same way as freshly squeezed juice.

Watercress is convenient because it is very easy to grow it yourself. The grass is surprisingly unpretentious: the seeds sprout on the 3rd day after sowing, and after 1.5 weeks the greens are ready for use. The container with plants does not take up much space and can be located on the kitchen windowsill, and care is reduced solely to periodic watering.
