Pharmacological action of Amosin
The active substance of Amosin is amoxicillin, which has bactericidal activity, suppressing streptococci, staphylococci, shigella, salmonella, klebsiella, coli, the causative agent of meningitis, sepsis.
Release form
Amosin is produced in granules, powder, suspension, solution for administration of the drug intramuscularly, intravenously.
Indications for use of Amosin

Method of using Amosin according to instructions
According to the indicated indications, Amosin is taken orally, after or before meals. The tablet is swallowed whole, it can be divided or chewed, diluted in water (in 20 ml or 100 ml).
Children after 10 liters, adults Amosin, according to the instructions, are prescribed to take 0.5 g 3p / day. If the infection is severe, take 0.75-1 g of an antibiotic, also three times a day.
Children are usually given the antibiotic Amosin in the form of a suspension: at the age of 5-10 liters - 0.25 g; 2-5l - 0.125g, up to 2 years old - 20mg / kg three r / day. If the child's infection is severe, he is given 60 mg / kg three r / day.
Newborns, premature babies are shown the same dosage of the drug, but the interval between doses should be greater. The treatment lasts 5-12 days.

Side effects
The use of Amosin can cause: flushing of the skin, rhinitis, urticaria, fever, conjunctivitis, eosinophilia, exfoliative dermatitis, dysbiosis, nausea, diarrhea, taste disturbance, stomatitis, glossitis, unexpressed increase in liver enzyme activity, arthralgia, dizziness, anxiety, peripheral neuropathy, depression, neutropenia, anemia, thrombocytopenic purpura, behavior change.
With an overdose of Amosin, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, a violation of the water-electrolyte balance occur. For treatment, you should rinse the stomach, take activated charcoal, saline laxative, and carry out hemodialysis.
Contraindications to the use of Amosin
The antibiotic Amosin should not be taken for gastrointestinal diseases, incl. a history of infectious mononucleosis, hypersensitivity, renal failure, during lactation, pregnancy.
According to the instructions, Amosin cannot be combined with aminoglycosides; antacids, laxatives, glucosamine negatively affect its absorption and speed of action.
The antibiotic, in turn, increases the effectiveness of indirect anticoagulants and decreases the effectiveness of oral contraceptives containing estrogen. The concentration of amoxicillin is increased by non-steroidal drugs, diuretics, oxyphenbutazone, phenylbutazone, allopurinol.
