Release form and composition

Dosage forms of Aqualor baby:

• aerosol (solution for intranasal administration): a colorless transparent liquid with a slightly salty taste, odorless (in metal pressure containers with a plastic cap and an anatomical nasal tip of 100, 125 or 150 ml, in a cardboard box 1 balloon);
• solution-nasal drops: colorless transparent liquid with slightly salted taste, odorless (in dropper bottles of 15 ml, in a cardboard box 1 dropper bottle).

Composition of 100 ml solution (all forms of release):

• active substance: sterile natural isotonic sea water - 30–33 ml (pH - 6–8.5; NaCl content - 8–11 mg / ml);
• additional component: purified water - up to 100 ml.

Pharmacological properties

Aqualor baby is one of the means for washing the nasal cavity for children from the first days of life.

Contains all trace elements and active substances of seawater: Fe, Ca, Mg, K, Na, Se, Cl, I, Cu, Zn, etc.

Preservatives are not included in the product.

The solution is designed to reduce secretions, remove mucus, moisturize the mucous membrane of the nasal cavity, remove and soften crusts in medical institutions and for individual use.

It is not a medicine.

Aqualor baby has a beneficial effect on the mucous membrane of the nasopharynx and nasal cavity, helps to restore nasal breathing and reduce nasal congestion.

Indications for use

According to the instructions, Aqualor baby is prescribed to children from the first days of life as part of complex treatment and for prophylactic purposes for acute and chronic inflammatory diseases of the nasal cavity, paranasal sinuses and nasopharynx (infectious, allergic, atrophic), including:

• rhinitis (acute, chronic, subatrophic, vasomotor, allergic);
• adenoiditis (acute, chronic);
• sinusitis (acute, chronic, including sinusitis).

Also, the tool can be prescribed in the following cases:

• respiratory infections, including acute respiratory viral infections (complex treatment and prevention);
• conditions after surgical interventions in the cavity of the paranasal sinuses and nose;

Aqualor baby is used intranasally.

Aerosol spray mode - soft shower.

Frequency rate of application during irrigation of each nasal passage:

• daily hygiene and prevention: 2-3 times a day;
• treatment: 4-6 times a day.

The recommended dosing regimen when using Aqualor baby drops: 2-3 times a day (possibly more often), 1-2 drops in each nasal passage.

When carrying out complex therapy, Aqualor baby should be used before using other local drugs.

The duration of the course and the frequency of application of the agent are not limited.
