Hot manicure
Hot manicure (oil, royal, medicinal) is a type of European or classic manicure.
It occupies a special place among other methods for caring for the skin of hands and nails. Hot manicure has gained wide popularity at the same time as nail extension, as it is one of the best methods for their restoration after removing the modeled nails.
Hot manicure technology
Hot manicure technology resembles paraffin therapy. The procedure includes several stages:
- Disinfection of the hands of the master and the client;
- Removing old varnish with acetone-free products;
- Modeling the length and shape of nails;
- Hand peeling;
- Soaking hands in a hot manicure bath, which usually lasts 10-15 minutes, followed by massage;
- Pulling back the nail skin (cuticle) using manicure tools - special pumice stone, orange stick or metal stick with a rubber tip;
- Cleansing hands from lotion (cream), followed by wiping with a towel soaked in cold water, which leads to an increase in blood circulation and closure of pores;
- Nail polishing.
A hot manicure is a unique treatment with a regenerating and moisturizing effect. This is especially indicated for dry fading skin, as well as against the background of damage to the skin of the hands - cracks, microtrauma or pimples, in which hot paraffin baths cannot be carried out.
The procedure consists in lowering the hands into a special electric bath for hot manicure, which contains a special cosmetic product with a creamy structure, heated to a temperature of 50-55 degrees.
This temperature promotes the activation of many vital processes in the skin cells. This increases blood circulation and opens the pores of the skin, which contributes to the rapid and deep penetration of the nutrients contained in the cream.
The heated cream moisturizes and nourishes the skin several times better than the usual one, since the substances contained in the cream enter the cells more actively due to the open pores.
Hot manicure equipment
The hot manicure bath is a special electric heater that operates in two modes:
- Warming up to the set temperature;
- Maintaining the set temperature.
In the absence of a bath for a hot manicure at home, the oil or cream can be warmed up in a water bath, but for optimal effect it is recommended to maintain a constant temperature, which is not very convenient for frequent procedures.
A creamy cosmetic used for hot manicure contains a large number of ingredients and nutrients that are beneficial to the skin of the hands, such as lanolin, vitamins, glycerin, mineral oils, which help to maintain healthy nails and hand skin. A prerequisite for the lotion is the invariability of its structure when heated - it should not split into fats and water.
Hot manicure benefits
Cosmetologists recommend hot manicure:
- On the days of the recovery period after nail extension;
- When treating an inflamed or damaged cuticle;
- For the restoration of bitten, brittle and thin nails;
- With dry skin of the hands, as well as with wrinkles and cracks;
- Children with very delicate and thin cuticles;
- With blood vessels located close to the surface;
- In winter, when the dryness of the skin of the hands increases.
In addition to intensive moisturizing and nourishing the skin, hot manicure has a number of advantages over other procedures.
Thanks to the increased blood circulation, hot manicure has a beneficial effect not only on the condition of the skin of the hands, but also on the joints. Also, after the procedure, the tension of the hands decreases, which is inherent in people whose activities are associated with fine motor skills of the hands - knitting, playing musical instruments, working on a computer.
In addition, a hot manicure effectively restores nails - they stop flaking and become less brittle.
Other benefits of a hot manicure include:
- No contraindications;
- The ability to combine the procedure with any cuticle treatment method;
- Lack of discomfort during the procedure;
- Versatility for men, women and children.
