Ferroplex is a drug that stimulates hematopoiesis.
The product is available in dosage forms: pills, coated tablets and prolonged-release coated tablets.
According to the instructions, the active substances of Ferroplex are ferrous sulfate heptahydrate and ascorbic acid. The auxiliary components of the drug are represented by lactose monohydrate (84 mg), potato starch (20 mg), talc (4.5 mg), sucrose (4.5 mg), gelatin (3 mg) and stearin (4 mg). Ferroplex's shell contains sucrose (125.8 mg), magnesium oxide (16.6 mg), talc (46.5 mg), vegetable oil (6.3 mg) and gum arabic (acacia gum) - 4.8 mg.

As a combined drug, Ferroplex replenishes the lack of iron in the body, and its ascorbic acid improves the absorption of the substance from the gastrointestinal tract, mainly from the distal small intestine. With a decrease in the iron content in the body, the intensity of absorption of the trace element increases.
Indications for the use of Ferroplex
According to the instructions, Ferroplex is prescribed as a prophylactic agent in the presence of iron deficiency states during pregnancy, during lactation, with unbalanced and inadequate nutrition, during acute or chronic blood loss (including in the presence of duodenal ulcers and stomach). Contraindications

According to the instructions, Ferroplex tablets and dragees are taken orally, washed down with 100 ml of drinking water half an hour before meals - without chewing. The standard dosage of Ferroplex for adults is 100-200 mg / day for treatment, for prophylaxis and as maintenance therapy - 100 mg / day.

According to reviews to Ferroplex, the drug is effective only for iron deficiency anemia, for anemia of other etymologies, the remedy is not capable of providing. The absorption of the drug is reduced by egg yolk, tea, D-penicillamine, tetracyclines and antacids containing magnesium and calcium salts.
