Endonorm is a biologically active additive (BAA), a gonadotropic and thyroid-stimulating agent of plant origin.
Release form and composition
Dosage form - capsules of 400 mg: hard gelatin (60 and 90 pcs. In polymer cans, 1 can in a cardboard box).
Active ingredients in one capsule:
- dry extract of licorice roots - 50 mg;
- powder of sugary kelp thallus - 70 mg;
- dry extract of the herb of the three-part series - 80 mg;
- dry extract of the roots and rhizomes of white cinquefoil - 200 mg.
Pharmacological properties
Endonorm has a wide range of pharmacological effects, which is due to the total action of the following biologically active substances included in its composition: glycyrrhizic acids of licorice, albinin, phenylpropanoids and iridoids of the tripartite series, the sum of phenolic compounds and triterpene glycosides of Potentilla white.
In the prevention of thyroid diseases and the treatment of metabolic syndrome, Endonorm restores the function of the thyroid gland, increases the intensity of metabolic processes in the tissues of the body.
The therapeutic effect in autoimmune thyroiditis, euthyroid (diffuse, nodular, multinodular) and endemic goiter is due to the mediated effect of the drug, is achieved by reducing the functional overload of the thyroid gland and changing the reactivity of its humoral regulation.
In hypothyroidism, the drug increases the functional activity of the thyroid gland, which is determined by its ability to activate proliferative processes in the interfollicular islets and increase the rate of synthetic processes.
In hyperthyroidism and thyrotoxicosis Endonorm inhibits the secretion of thyroid hormones by thyrocytes and inhibits the peripheral conversion of T4 / T3, thereby reducing the functional activity of the thyroid gland.
In cases of hyperplastic diseases of the female reproductive system, Endonorm has a pronounced anti-inflammatory and gonadotropic effect.
In the climacteric period, the drug normalizes the level of gonadotropic hormones (due to an indirect effect on the hypothalamic-pituitary system) and increases the functional activity of the adrenal cortex.
