Pikovit contains E124 azo dye (tablets and syrup), as well as E110 azo dye (tablets), which can cause hypersensitivity reactions with the asthmatic component. Such violations in most cases were noted against the background of increased sensitivity to acetylsalicylic acid.

High doses of glycerol, which is an auxiliary component of tablets, can lead to the development of headaches and disorders of the gastrointestinal tract (in the form of diarrhea).

Benzoic acid, which is part of the syrup, has a mild irritating effect on mucous membranes and skin.
