Release form and composition
Dosage form - coated tablets: biconvex, light yellow, two layers are visible when broken (in a blister strip: 10 pcs., In a cardboard box 3 packs; 30 pcs., In a cardboard box 1 pack and instructions on the use of Tanacehol).
1 tablet contains:
- active substance: dry purified extract from flowers of common tansy (Tanacetum vulgare L.), total content of phenolcarboxylic acids and flavonoids - 50 mg;
- auxiliary components: aerosil, potato starch, lactose, calcium stearate;
- shell composition: polyvinylpyrrolidone, sugar, silicon dioxide, magnesium hydroxycarbonate, titanium dioxide, beeswax, tropeolin 0, gelatin.

Tanacehol is a herbal choleretic drug. The active substance is obtained from the flowers of the tansy Tanacetum Vulgare L. of the Asteraceae family.
The drug has an antispasmodic effect on the bile ducts, gallbladder and intestines. Thanks to its use, the formation and secretion of bile is enhanced. Also, therapy helps to change the biochemical composition of bile.
Indications for use
The use of Tanacechol is indicated for adult patients as a choleretic and antispasmodic agent for the following pathologies:
- dyskinesia of the biliary tract in the hyper- and hypomotor type;
- chronic non-calculous cholecystitis;
- postcholecystectomy syndrome.
Contraindications
- cholelithiasis (gallstone disease);
- the period of pregnancy and breastfeeding;
- individual intolerance to the components of the drug.
Tanacekhol, instructions for use: method and dosage
The tablets are taken orally 15-20 minutes before meals.
Recommended dosage: 1–2 pcs. 3 times a day. Duration of treatment is 20-30 days.
If necessary, the frequency of administration can be increased up to 4 times a day.
Side effects
Allergic reactions may develop against the background of the use of tablets.

Main symptoms: increased side effects.
Therapy: drug withdrawal, symptomatic treatment.
