Release form and composition
Dosage form - solution: transparent colorless liquid (in vials of 2, 5, 10 or 15 ml, in a cardboard box 1 bottle and instructions for use of Stillavit).
Solution composition:
- active substances: sodium hyaluronate, D-panthenol (provitamin B 5), chondroitin sodium sulfate;
- additional components: mono- and disubstituted sodium phosphate, ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid, sodium chloride, sodium tetraborate, distilled water.
Pharmacological properties
Pharmacodynamics
The action of Stillavite is determined by the properties of the active ingredients. Chondroitin sulfate and hyaluronic acid are physiological polysaccharide compounds found in the tissues of the eye and other tissues of the human body. D-panthenol (provitamin B 5) is a precursor of pantothenic acid (vitamin B 5), which is found in all living organisms and plants.
The special properties of the molecules of all active substances include a pronounced ability to bind a large number of water molecules. Stillavite, having high adhesive properties in relation to the anterior segment of the eye and the necessary viscosity, forms a stable and uniform tear film for a long time, which does not wash off when blinking and does not lead to a decrease in visual acuity.
The main effects of the drug:
- contributing to quick relief from irritated and dry eyes;
- moisturizing, lubricating and restoring the surface of the cornea and conjunctiva;
- elimination of discomfort when wearing contact lenses;
- contributing to the relief of fatigue with intense visual stress (including with prolonged work with a computer and spending time in front of the TV, driving at night).
Indications for use
Stillavite is recommended for additional lubrication, moisturizing and protection of the anterior surface of the eye (conjunctiva and cornea), eliminating discomfort when sensing a foreign body, dryness, burning sensation in the eyes, including those appearing under the influence of such factors as:
- medical and social: taking certain medicines, aging of the population and more frequent instillations of eye drops associated with age-related changes, total computerization of offices and schools, widespread use of contact vision correction and eye microsurgery methods in order to eliminate defects in the organ of vision;
- medical and environmental: air pollution by road transport and industrial waste, in agriculture - soil pollution with chemicals;
- climatic: exposure to massive ultraviolet radiation, the use of steam heating, air conditioners, split systems.
Contraindications
An absolute contraindication to the use of Stillavit is the presence of an individual intolerance to its components.

The solution is instilled in 1-2 drops into the conjunctival sac of each eye. Frequency of use - 2-3 or more times a day. With frequent use (from 10 times a day), it is recommended to consult with an ophthalmologist for the absence of corneal damage and epithelial defects.
