  • Strongyloidosis;
  • Mixed helminthic invasions;
  • Echinococcosis of the lungs, liver and peritoneum caused by the larval form of Echinococcus granulosus;
  • Giardiasis;
  • Neurocysticercosis, which is caused by the larval form of Taenia solium;
  • Toxocariasis.

Also, the use of Nemozole is indicated in the surgical treatment of echinococcosis cysts as an adjunct.

Contraindications

According to the instructions, Nemozole is contraindicated for use with:

  • Retinal damage;

  • With neurocysticercosis and echinococcosis, Nemozol, according to the instructions, is taken at 400 mg twice a day, and with a weight less than 60 kg, the daily dose is calculated - 15 mg / kg, which should be taken in 2 doses. The course of treatment is usually long and with neurocysticercosis - from a week to a month, with echinococcosis, 3 cycles of treatment with Nemozol are recommended for 28 days, with the interval between them should be no more than two weeks;
  • Children with giardiasis are usually prescribed 10-15 mg / kg once a day for a week;
  • With toxocariasis, children under 14 years of age calculate the dose - 10 mg / kg twice a day, children over 14 years old and adults weighing less than 60 kg are prescribed 1 tablet of Nemozol 200 mg 2 times a day, and with a body weight over 60 kg taken the dose of the drug is doubled.
