Carboplatin is an antineoplastic drug used in mono- and combined therapy in the treatment of cancer.

Release form

Carboplatin is produced in the form of a sterile lyophilized powder for injection in vials of 50 mg, 150 mg, 200 mg and 450 mg (Carboplatin 450) and in the form of a solution for injection in ampoules of 5, 15 and 45 ml. An analogue of this drug is Carboplatin Teva.

Indications for the use of Carboplatin

Carboplatin is used for various oncological diseases:

Contraindications

Carboplatin is used with caution in chickenpox, herpes zoster, or other acute infectious diseases.
