Release form and composition
Dosage forms of release:
- tablets: biconvex, round, beige with brown blotches (10 pcs. in blisters, 2 packs in a cardboard box);
- oral solution: transparent, red-brown or brown in color, with a characteristic odor (50 ml in dark glass bottles, in a cardboard box 1 bottle complete with a measuring cup).
Composition of 1 tablet:
- active substance: Echinacea purpurea (in the form of dried squeezed juice from fresh grass) - 100 mg;
- auxiliary components: colloidal silicon dioxide, sorbitol, sodium cyclamate, magnesium stearate.
Composition of 100 ml oral solution:
- active substance: Echinacea purpurea (in the form of dried squeezed juice from fresh grass) - 75.6 ml;
- auxiliary component: 90% ethanol (V / V) - 24.4 ml.

Pharmacodynamics
Immunorm is an immunostimulating herbal preparation. It produces an anti-inflammatory effect.
The active components of Echinacea purpurea juice - polysaccharides (arabino-rhamno-galactan and 4-O-methyl-glucurono-arabinoxylan) and derivatives of caffeic acid (chicoric acid and its esters) - increase the activity of nonspecific factors of the body's defense.
Immunorm stimulates the phagocytic activity of macrophages and granulocytes, and also leads to an increase in the number of lymphocytes in the body, which helps to destroy and suppress the reproduction of microorganisms.
Pharmacokinetics
Pharmacokinetic studies are impossible, since the effect of the active substance Immunorm is the cumulative effect of its components.
Indications for use
Immunorm is prescribed for the treatment and prevention of recurrent infectious diseases of the urinary and respiratory tract.
Contraindications
- multiple sclerosis;
- collagenoses;
- tuberculosis;
- autoimmune diseases;
- HIV infection;
- malignant neoplasms of the hematopoietic / lymphoid tissue;
- hepatic dysfunction (solution);
- chronic alcoholism (solution);
- pregnancy and lactation;

- individual intolerance to the components of the drug.
With congenital fructose intolerance, Immunorm in the form of tablets should be prescribed with caution.
Instructions for use of Immunorm: method and dosage
The drug is taken orally, regardless of the time of the meal.
The tablets can be chewed, sucked or washed down with water. Before use, the solution must be diluted in a sufficient amount of liquid (water, juice). For accurate dosing, it is recommended to use the supplied measuring cup.
Recommended regimen of the drug: 1 tablet or 2.5 ml of oral solution 3 times a day for a course of up to 2 months.
Side effects
- allergic reactions: itching, skin rash; rarely - shortness of breath, swelling of the face;
- others: increased sweating.
Overdose
Overdose cases have not been reported to date.

For the condition of patients with recurrent infectious diseases of the respiratory tract, proceeding with long-term complaints of shortness of breath, hyperthermia, bloody or purulent sputum, medical supervision should be established.
