Release form and composition

The drug is available in the form of an ointment for external use: a thick mass of white or white with a yellow tint, has a specific smell (15, 20, 25, 40 g in dark glass jars, 1 jar in a cardboard box; 25 g in bottles, in a cardboard box 1 bottle; 15, 20, 25, 30, 40 g in aluminum tubes, in a cardboard box 1 tube; each pack also contains instructions for using Gevkamen).

  • active ingredients: eucalyptus oil - 10 g, L-menthol (levomenthol) - 18 g, racemic camphor - 10 g;

Gevkamen is a combined herbal preparation for external use. It has a local irritant (distracting) and mild analgesic effect. The mechanism of action is due to the properties of the active components, their ability to cause reflex reactions associated with irritation of sensitive nerve endings of the skin and subcutaneous formations.

Indications for use

The use of Gavkamen is indicated in the treatment of neuralgia, arthralgia, myositis, myalgia as an irritating and anesthetic external agent.
