Vagilak is a series of drugs for the regulation, restoration, normalization and maintenance of physiological balance of the intimate female microflora.

Release form and composition

• capsules for oral administration weighing 230 mg (15 pcs. in blisters; in a cardboard box 1 or 2 blisters);
• liquid soap for daily intimate hygiene (250 ml. in bottles with a pump; 1 bottle per package);
• moisturizing gel to eliminate dryness of the mucous membrane of the intimate zone (50 g each in tubes with an applicator).

1 capsule contains:

• active ingredients: probiotic strains of lactobacilli Lactobacillus rhamnosus GR-1 and Lactobacillus reuteri RC-14 - not less than 1 × 10 ⁹ CFU / g;
• auxiliary ingredients: dextrose, microcrystalline cellulose, starch, magnesium stearate;
• capsule: gelatin, titanium dioxide.

The energy value of 1 capsule is 853 cal (3571.3 J), including the protein content - 32.9 mg, carbohydrates - 173 mg, fat - 3.2 mg.

• liquid soap: lactic acid in combination with extracts of calendula and chamomile helps to maintain the optimal pH level of the genital mucosa, has anti-inflammatory efficacy, restores and protects the natural microflora of the intimate zone;
• moisturizing gel: lactic acid maintains the natural level of pH and vaginal microflora; the gel helps to replenish the lack of natural lubrication, eliminates the feeling of discomfort caused by dryness, provides prolonged optimal hydration of the genital mucosa; it is quickly and well absorbed without leaving stains on clothes; compatible with latex, since it does not contain substances that destroy it; free of fatty oils and perfumed fragrances, can be used for daily intimate hygiene.

Indications for use

• capsules: recommended for use by women and girls over 10 years of age as a source of probiotic lactobacilli Lactobacillus (rhamnosus GR-1 and reuteri RC-14), including as part of the combined treatment of dysbiosis of various etiologies, both simultaneously with antibiotic therapy and after her, as well as when preparing pregnant women for childbirth;
• liquid soap: a cosmetic for intimate hygiene is recommended for daily intimate care, especially during menstruation, during pregnancy and after childbirth, as well as while taking contraceptives and antibiotics;
• moisturizing gel for intimate hygiene: recommended as a hygienic product for daily use with dry mucous membranes of the female genital tract, including during peri- and postmenopause; as an additional agent in the complex correction of inflammation and dysbiotic gynecological pathologies; after therapy with antibacterial and antifungal drugs; with the constant use of hormonal contraceptives; for the prevention of mucosal injuries during diagnostic gynecological procedures.

Contraindications

According to the instructions, Vagilak is contraindicated for use with increased individual sensitivity to any component of the drug.

Instructions for use of Vagilak: method and dosage

Capsules

Vagilak capsules are intended for oral administration, preferably with meals, they should be washed down with water.

Recommended dosage:

• microflora normalization: 1 pc. 2 times a day, course for 14 days;
• maintenance of vaginal microflora: 1 pc. per day, with a course of 14 to 28 days.

An improvement in the quality of the vaginal microflora should occur after 14 days, but no later than 28–42 days.

Liquid soap

Vagilak liquid soap is intended for local use. A small amount is mixed with water, applied to the mucous membrane and rinsed thoroughly. It should not be used together with regular soap.

Moisturizing gel

The gel is applied topically by applying a small amount of the product to a clean finger and then using the finger on the intimate area.

For a deeper introduction of the gel into the vagina, use the supplied applicator as follows:

• filling the applicator: attach the applicator to the opening of the tube, squeeze a small amount of gel onto it;
• injection of the gel into the vagina: disconnect the applicator from the tube, insert it deep into the vagina, squeeze out the gel (the applicator is reusable, it can be used indefinitely);
• completion of the procedure: remove the applicator, rinse thoroughly with warm water, wipe dry and store in a dry place.

The gel can be applied in a thin layer to the penis or the outer surface of the contraceptive, and can also be used to facilitate the administration of enemas and rectal thermometers.
