Active substance: beclomethasone, in 1 dose - 50 mcg.

Indications for use

Beconase is a drug for the prevention and treatment of seasonal and year-round allergic rhinitis.

Contraindications

  • children under 6 years old;
  • hypersensitivity to drug components.

Carefully:

  • glaucoma;
  • amebiasis;
  • hypothyroidism;
  • severe liver failure;
  • herpes of the eyes;
  • recent myocardial infarction;
  • systemic infections (bacterial, fungal);
  • ulceration of the nasal septum;
  • recent injuries to the nose;
  • recent surgical interventions in the nasal cavity;
  • pulmonary tuberculosis;
  • pregnancy and lactation.

Method of administration and dosage

Beconase is administered intranasally.

Adults and children over 6 years old are prescribed 2 injections into each nasal passage 2 times a day, or 1 injection into each nostril 3-4 times a day. The maximum daily frequency of use is 8 times.

To achieve the full therapeutic effect, the drug should be used regularly, since an improvement in the condition is noted only after several uses.
