Beviplex is a complex of B vitamins designed to compensate for the deficiency of vitamins of this group. B vitamins are part of the enzymes that regulate protein, carbohydrate and fat metabolism in the body.
Release form and composition
Beviplex is produced in the form of a lyophilisate for the preparation of a solution for injection (in ampoules of 3 ml, in a carton box of 5 ampoules, complete with 5 ampoules of solvent).
Composition for 1 ampoule:
- nicotinamide (vitamin PP) - 100 mg;
- thiamin (vitamin B 1) - 40 mg;
- pyridoxine (vitamin B 6) - 8 mg;
- pantothenic acid (vitamin B 5) - 10 mg;
- riboflavin (vitamin B 2) - 4 mg;
- cyanocobalamin (vitamin B 12) - 0.004 mg.
Solvent: water for injection - 2 ml.
Indications for use
Beviplex is used to treat and prevent deficiency of B vitamins in the following diseases and conditions:
- hypovitaminosis (glossitis, stomatitis, pellagra, ariboflavinosis, beriberi, cheilitis);
- primary deficiency of B vitamins due to an unbalanced diet;
- secondary deficiency of B vitamins due to intestinal absorption disorders (long-term antibiotic treatment, diarrhea, sprue);
- neurological diseases: radiculitis, peripheral paralysis, neuralgia, neuritis, alcoholic and diabetic polyneuropathies (in complex treatment);
- psoriasis, eczema, dermatoses, neurodermatitis, itching of various origins, photodermatosis;
- conjunctivitis, keratitis, corneal opacity;
- liver diseases, malnutrition, neurasthenia, asthenia (as a general tonic);
- endarteritis, peripheral vascular spasm (in complex treatment);
- conditions after exposure to X-rays;
- the period of pregnancy and breastfeeding (to compensate for the lack of B vitamins from food, as well as with indomitable vomiting of pregnant women);
- simultaneous administration of drugs that impede the absorption of B vitamins or contribute to their rapid elimination from the body (oral contraceptives, isoniazid, hydralazine, cytostatics, cycloserine).
Contraindications
Beviplex is contraindicated in patients with increased individual sensitivity to B vitamins, as well as in concomitant treatment with levodopa.
Method of administration and dosage
The drug is administered intravenously or intramuscularly in 1-2 ampoules once or twice a day.
The duration of the course of treatment or prevention is determined by the doctor.
Side effects
During the use of Beviplex, allergic reactions to individual components of the drug are possible.

The drug is approved for use by pregnant and lactating women and is prescribed according to indications.
Drug interactions
When used simultaneously with levodopa, Beviplex reduces its effectiveness in the treatment of Parkinson's disease.
Pyridoxine can reduce the effects of steroid hormones.
When taken together with isoniazid, the excretion of pyridoxine in the urine increases.
Penicillamine, hydralazine and cycloserine are vitamin B 6 antagonists.
Terms and conditions of storage
Store in a dark, dry place at a temperature of + 15 … +30 ° С. Keep out of the reach of children.
The shelf life of the drug is 3 years.
