Balansin is a biologically active food additive (BAA), an additional source of B vitamins, selenium, magnesium, flavonoids. Complex multivitamin preparation for improving the functions of the nervous system.

Release form and composition

Dosage form of the dietary supplement - tablets weighing 1200 mg, including: gamma-aminobutyric acid, ginkgo biloba leaf extract, magnesium oxide, inositol, selenium, vitamin B 12, L-tyrosine, thiamine, riboflavin, lecithin, pyridoxine, folic and pantothenic acids, biotin, niacin.

1 tablet contains biologically active components:

  • magnesium - 65 mg;
  • selenium - 0.025 mg;
  • thiamine (vitamin B 1) - 0.75 mg;
  • riboflavin (vitamin B 2) - 0.85 mg;
  • niacin (vitamin B 3) - 20 mg;
  • pantothenic acid (vitamin B 5) - 3.5 mg;
  • pyridoxine (vitamin B 6) - 1 mg;
  • biotin (vitamin B 7) - 0.025 mg;
  • folic acid (vitamin B 9) - 0.15 mg;
  • cyanocobalamin (vitamin B 12) - 0.001 mg.

Component properties

The action of Balansin tablets is based on the high biological activity of the ingredients:

  • vitamin B 1: a water-soluble vitamin; promotes the growth and development of the body, increasing physical and mental performance, providing a detoxifying effect, improving the metabolism of nervous tissue;
  • vitamin B 2: the most important water-soluble vitamin, a coenzyme of many biochemical processes; participates in the formation of erythrocytes and antibodies, regulates the growth and reproductive function of the body, is necessary for hair growth, health of the skin and nails, in general for the normal functioning of all organs and systems, including the thyroid gland;
  • vitamin B 3: a specific antipellagric, vitamin and hypolipidemic drug, an essential component of many redox reactions, tissue respiration, glycogenolysis, biosynthesis processes; participates in the formation of enzymes, intracellular metabolism of lipids, carbohydrates, purines, amino acids;
  • vitamin B 5: part of the coenzyme (coenzyme) A, which takes part in the most important metabolic processes of carbohydrates, fats, amino acids, as well as in the synthesis of vital substances: fatty acids, histamine, acetylcholine, cholesterol, hemoglobin; stimulates the production of glucocorticoids (adrenal hormones), plays a significant role in the formation of antibodies, the synthesis of neurotransmitters and promotes the absorption of other vitamins;
  • vitamin B 6: a coenzyme of proteins involved in the processing of amino acids and regulating protein absorption; necessary in the production of blood cells and hemoglobin, participates in the uniform distribution of glucose, which has a beneficial effect on the central nervous system (central and peripheral nervous system), increases mental and physical performance;
  • vitamin B 7: a highly active vitamin included in enzymes that regulate protein and fat balance; participates in the synthesis of an enzyme that regulates the metabolism of carbohydrates (glucokinase), purine nucleotides, in the reactions of activation and transfer of carbon dioxide; a coenzyme of various enzymes (including transcarboxylases), a source of sulfur necessary for collagen synthesis;
  • vitamin B 9: a water-soluble vitamin necessary for the growth and development of the circulatory and immune systems; required for the creation and maintenance of new cells in a state of norm, especially important during periods of rapid development;
  • vitamin B 12: an organic compound with the most complex chemical structure, in comparison with other vitamins, is synthesized by microorganisms - bacteria and archaea (neither plants nor animals synthesize it); has an immunomodulatory, anti-allergic, anti-atherosclerotic effect, normalizes blood pressure, restores the structure of nervous tissue, improves appetite by promoting the absorption of proteins, fats and carbohydrates, is necessary for the absorption of calcium, participates in the formation and regeneration of red blood cells, is important for the health of the reproductive system;
  • inositol: a vitamin-like substance produced by the body; has a membrane-protective, lipotropic, antiatherosclerotic, antidepressant, anxiolytic effect, restores the structure of nervous tissue and normalizes sleep;
  • gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA): a nootropic substance, the main mediator involved in central inhibition processes, activating energy processes in the brain, increasing the respiratory activity of tissues, improving glucose utilization and blood supply; has a sedative effect, relieves anxiety and is not addictive;
  • ginkgo biloba: a relict plant of the gymnosperms class called a living fossil, one of the oldest plants; contains two groups of biologically active substances - flavone glycosides, which have an antioxidant effect and prevent thrombus formation, and terpene lactones (ginkgolides), which stimulate the synthesis of prostacyclin, which causes vasodilation and increases their elasticity; the extract improves blood circulation in all vessels, up to the capillaries;
  • magnesium: a macronutrient necessary for the normal functioning of muscle and nervous tissues; reduces the tension of the smooth muscles of the arterial walls, as a result of which blood pressure decreases, lowers cholesterol, is necessary for the prevention of chronic fatigue and stress syndrome;
  • selenium: a microelement with strong antioxidant action, the main component of glutathione pyroxidase (antioxidant enzyme); protects the body from the accumulation of oxidation products that contribute to the destruction of cell / organoid membranes, prevents damage to chromosomes, normalizing the activity of nuclei, stimulates protein synthesis on ribosomes, is necessary for the growth, development and rejuvenation of tissues and the body as a whole;
  • L-tyrosine: a proteinogenic amino acid that is part of the proteins of all living organisms; promotes an increase in the production of neurotransmitters (norepinephrine, adrenaline and dopamine), coenzyme Q10, melanin, thyroid hormones, increases brain performance, improves memorization, has a mild psychostimulating and antidepressant effect;
  • lecithin: an ester compound based on phospholipids - structural components of cell membranes, potential energy sources and components of certain enzymes; as an active ingredient, it is a part of hepatoprotectors that prevent liver diseases, including effectively protecting it from the destructive effects of alcohol.

Indications for use

  • deficiency or increased need for vitamins and minerals;
  • memory impairment, deterioration in concentration and intellectual abilities;
  • reduced stress resistance, chronic fatigue, depression;
  • hearing and visual impairment (prevention);
  • consequences of traumatic brain injuries;
  • physical, mental and emotional overload;
  • reduced immunity;
  • cardiovascular diseases: atherosclerosis, hypertension, angina pectoris, coronary artery disease of the heart and brain, cardiovascular complications of diabetes mellitus (for prevention and as part of complex therapy).

Balansin is effectively used as part of comprehensive programs in the treatment of alcoholism to reduce cravings for alcohol and relieve withdrawal symptoms.
