Baksin is a dietary supplement with a tonic effect.
Release form and composition
Baksin is produced in the form of capsules (10 pcs. In blisters).
1 capsule contains 0.12 g or 0.32 g of dry extract of Halobacterium halobium microorganisms (autolysate of halobacterium biomass in the form of a light pink powder with a slight specific odor).
The effect of Baksin is due to the properties of the autolysate of the biomass of halobacteria, which includes: peptides, carotenoids C50 (α-bacterioruberin), lipids, proteins, amino acids, vitamins (groups B, PP, E, C, A, H, D), micro- and macronutrients.
Indications for use
- Strengthening of immunity (due to the replenishment of biologically active substances);
- Restoration of intestinal microflora (after courses of taking antibiotics or for other reasons);
- Improving the functional state of the genitourinary system.
Baksin is prescribed:
- Prevention of infectious diseases (adenovirus infections, influenza, etc.);
- Dermatoses are chronic and acute, for example, with neurodermatitis and psoriasis, (simultaneously with local remedies);
- Immunodeficiency states that are caused by infectious diseases (bacterial, viral), including those associated with herpes viral infections;
- Chronic nonspecific prostatitis (in men);
- Treatment of chronic and inflammatory diseases of the appendages (in women).
In addition, Baksin is prescribed to cancer patients undergoing a course of chemotherapy and radiotherapy (as a protective agent, as well as in case of complications and during preparation for conservative anticancer therapy).
Contraindications
The use of Baksin is contraindicated in case of hypersensitivity to the components included in the capsule, during the course of chemotherapy or radiotherapy (in cancer patients), children and adolescents under 14 years of age, lactating and pregnant women.
Method of administration and dosage
Baksin as a general tonic is prescribed for adults and children over 14 years of age 2 times a day, 2 capsules at the same time with food. The recommended duration of the supplement is 1 month.
The scheme for using Baksin for other indications is determined by the doctor. Usually appoint:
- In the treatment of respiratory chlamydia, chronic herpesvirus infections, skin diseases, as well as endometritis, endocervicitis, adnexitis: 3 times a day, 2 capsules for 30-60 days. For prostatitis, the drug is taken in the same dosage for 4-6 weeks;
- In the treatment of cancer (along with other drugs): 6 capsules 2-3 times a day. Reception of dietary supplements is stopped a few days before the start of the course of irradiation, and after its completion, they are resumed according to the same scheme. The recommended duration of taking Baksin is 2 months.
