10 pharmaceutical preparations that can be used for cosmetic purposes

Cosmetics designed to improve the condition of skin, nails and hair are used by every woman. The expenses for the regular purchase of fashionable, widely advertised products of well-known companies for many become very significant and significantly burden the family budget. Meanwhile, there are a number of inexpensive pharmaceutical preparations that may well be used for cosmetic purposes. Moreover, the effect of this is often more noticeable than from the most expensive creams and lotions.

Zinc ointment

One of the most effective drugs to quickly deal with acne. It is enough to apply a thin layer of ointment to the problem area at night and let it dry. The next morning, there will be no trace of an inflamed red spot on the face.

The drug dries out the skin. It is not recommended to apply it on large areas of the skin and to use it too often. After the pimple disappears, you need to treat your face with a moisturizing nourishing cream.

Retinoic ointment

The ointment contains a concentrate of retinol (vitamin A), which is one of the substances that successfully prevent skin aging. The product increases the tone of the skin, smoothes wrinkles, gives a noticeable rejuvenating effect; in addition, it soothes the skin, relieves redness and irritation, and reduces the appearance of acne.

It is very important to remember the following: skin treated with retinol preparations should not be exposed to ultraviolet rays, otherwise ugly age spots may appear on the face. Therefore, retinoic ointment is used only at night.

Aspirin

Acetylsalicylic acid, a well-known antipyretic drug, can be used as a skin tightening agent. It is necessary to grind the pill, mix the powder with a teaspoon of sour cream and apply on the face for 15 minutes. The lifting effect is noticeable after the very first procedure: the skin tone increases, sagging disappears, and the depth of wrinkles decreases.

The remedy is very strong. It should not be applied to inflamed and irritated areas, as well as to the skin of the eyelids.

Calendula

From the alcohol tincture of calendula, which is sold in every pharmacy, you get a wonderful cleansing lotion for the face, which noticeably reduces the oiliness of the skin and the number of blackheads. The drug is mixed with boiled water in equal proportions.

For dry skin, you can prepare a disinfectant liquid that does not contain alcohol - an aqueous infusion of dried calendula flowers (a tablespoon of raw materials in a glass of boiling water).

Vitamin E preparation. Available in the form of gelatin capsules. It has a great effect on nails: it strengthens and straightens the nail plates, heals minor cuticle injuries.

Using tocopherol is very simple: you need to pierce the capsule with a needle, squeeze out the oily content and rub it into your nails.

Liquorice root

Licorice root contains substances that eliminate puffiness, soothe, reduce inflammation and promote the growth of collagen fibers. The whitening effect of this plant material is most clearly manifested. With its help, you can quickly get rid of age spots (including those of seasonal origin - freckles).

Use either an aqueous infusion (a tablespoon of crushed root in a glass of boiling water) or an alcoholic lotion. For its preparation, a tablespoon of raw materials is poured with a quarter of a glass of vodka, insisted for two weeks, then filtered and the resulting liquid is added with water to 250 ml.

The cosmetic effect of the use of licorice preparations is noticeable after two weeks of daily use.

Badiaga

The powder, made from dried freshwater sponge, is an extremely active formulation that provides effective exfoliation and reduces wrinkles.

To prepare the mask, the badyagi powder is diluted with hydrogen peroxide to a mushy state. The mixture must be applied to pre-moistened skin and held for 5-10 minutes. The remedy causes a burning sensation, therefore the duration of the procedure depends on individual tolerance - you do not need to endure a strong burning sensation.

After rinsing off the mask, the skin can become very red, so it is recommended to use a soothing cream. The anti-aging effect is very noticeable.

Burr oil

One of the means to help improve hair condition. The oil is heated in a water bath and applied warmly to the hair and scalp, and after 30-40 minutes the mask is washed off using a gentle shampoo. To ensure the healing of the skin, to activate hair growth, to make them elastic and shiny, it is enough to carry out this procedure twice a week.

Aevit

The blend of vitamins A and E is the ideal nourishing and toning agent for the skin. If the contents of one capsule are applied to the face daily for two weeks, a rejuvenating effect is ensured.

All described pharmaceutical preparations are available, inexpensive and very effective. Using any of them will have a positive effect on a woman's appearance and mood and provide decent money savings.
