Adrenaline hydrochloride-Vial is a drug of the group of non-glycoside cardiotonic drugs. It has a hyperglycemic, bronchodilator, vasoconstrictor and antiallergic effect.

Release form and composition

Epinephrine hydrochloride-Vial comes to pharmacies as a solution in ampoules, which can be used to lubricate the skin, administered intramuscularly, subcutaneously or intravenously.

The active ingredient of the drug is epinephrine, the content of which in the solution is 1 mg per 1 ml.

The package contains 5 ampoules of dark glass, 1 ml each.

Indications for use

Adrenaline hydrochloride-Vial is recommended for use in the following cases:

• Allergic reactions, including chronic urticaria, anaphylactic and angioneurotic shock, which can develop with the use of drugs, serums, donor blood infusion, animal or insect bites, eating certain foods, ingestion of other allergens;
• Bleeding from superficial capillaries, mucous membranes (including gums);
• Stimulation of cardiac activity;
• Treatment of bronchial asthma and the removal of asthma attacks in this disease, the removal of bronchospasm with the introduction of anesthesia;
• Hypoglycemic shock in case of insulin overdose;
• Treatment of asystole, arterial hypotension;
• Prolongation of the action of local anesthetic agents;

Contraindications

The use of Adrenaline hydrochloride-Vial according to the instructions is not recommended for the introduction of narcotic drugs fluorothane, cyclopropane, chloroform. In combination with these medicines, epinephrine can provoke severe arrhythmias.

It is forbidden to prescribe epinephrine for hypertension, any form of aneurysm, diabetes mellitus.

Method of administration and dosage

• Digestive system - nausea, vomiting;
