Atma is a natural homeopathic remedy for the treatment of the respiratory system.

This drug has bronchodilator, mucolytic, anti-allergic, anti-inflammatory and immunomodulatory effects.

Release form and composition

A clear solution without a specific odor, color from slightly yellow to greenish-yellow (in dark glass vials of 20, 50 or 100 ml with a dropper dispenser, 1 bottle in a cardboard box).

100 ml of Atma contains 43% ethyl alcohol and 10 ml each of black elderberry leaves, dibasic sodium sulfate, bittersweet nightshade fruits, white arsenic, antimony potassium tartaric salt.

Indications for use

The homeopathic remedy helps to reduce nonspecific reactivity and spasm of the bronchi, reduce the severity of shortness of breath, weaken the intensity of asthma attacks and their frequency.

The use of Atma makes it possible to improve the quantitative and qualitative characteristics of sputum, thin and remove thick mucus, and restore the activity of the ciliated epithelium of the bronchi.

The anti-inflammatory effect of Atma is aimed at preventing damage to the bronchial tree by free radicals and proteases, protecting the pulmonary blood flow from the effects of inflammatory mediators. The drop therapy helps to reduce the inflammatory filtration and edema of the mucous membrane, which, in turn, protects the lungs and bronchi from the development of sclerotic changes in them.

Atma is used to treat smoker's cough, as well as infectious, allergic or mixed coughs.

Drops are effective in complex therapy:

  • Bronchial asthma - increase the effectiveness of treatment by enhancing the action of beta-2-agonists;
  • Obstructive bronchitis - helps to improve external respiration, dynamics of subjective manifestations and clinical symptoms, thereby reducing bronchial obstruction;
  • Chronic bronchitis of a smoker - facilitates coughing, improves the general condition of the patient, preventing irreversible changes in the bronchi and lung tissue.

Atma drug increases nonspecific reactivity and resistance, thereby activating the compensatory capabilities of the body.

Contraindications

Therapy with this homeopathic remedy is unacceptable in case of hypersensitivity to its components.

Doctor's supervision is necessary during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Method of administration and dosage

The use of drops is possible both in pure and diluted form. They can be diluted either in a tablespoon of water or in breast milk.

In the instructions for the drug, the following doses are recommended when taken three times a day:

  • Adults and children over 12 years old: 10 drops each;
  • Children under 12 years of age: 2-7 drops of the diluted drug;
  • Children under 1 year: 1 drop in water or breast milk.

It is recommended to increase the frequency of Atma receptions up to 6-8 times a day for 1-3 days in case of a need to quickly reduce the symptoms of the disease.

  • Acute bronchitis - 2-4 weeks;
  • Chronic non-obstructive bronchitis - 4 weeks;
  • Bronchial asthma and chronic obstructive bronchitis - 3 months;
