Release form and composition

Acetylsalicylic acid is an NSAID with analgesic, antipyretic and anti-inflammatory properties. The mechanism of action lies in the irreversible inhibition of the enzyme cyclooxygenase (COX), which regulates the synthesis of thromboxane A2, as well as prostaglandins E12 and E2.

Pharmacokinetics

The maximum single dose that should not be exceeded is 2 effervescent tablets (1000 mg of acetylsalicylic acid). A maximum of 6 effervescent tablets (3000 mg of acetylsalicylic acid) can be taken per day. At least 4-hour intervals must be observed between doses.

  • diuretics: in combination with acetylsalicylic acid at a dose of 3000 mg per day, due to a decrease in the synthesis of prostaglandins in the kidneys, there is a decrease in glomerular filtration;
  • systemic glucocorticosteroids (GCS), except for hydrocortisone (used in the treatment of Addison's disease): when used simultaneously with acetylsalicylic acid, the content of salicylates in the blood decreases, since GCS enhances their elimination;
