Ascorutin is a vitamin preparation containing ascorbic acid (vitamin C) and rutin (vitamin P).
The use of Ascorutin reduces capillary fragility and permeability, strengthens the vascular wall, and reduces inflammation and swelling. The water-soluble vitamins contained in the preparation take part in the metabolism of carbohydrates, redox processes, the formation of steroid hormones, regeneration and synthesis of connective tissue. Ascorutin has radioprotective (weaken the effect of radiation on the body) and antioxidant properties.
Indications for use of Ascorutin
This drug is prescribed in the following cases:
- reduced intake or absence of vitamins P and C in the body;
- capillary damage as a result of the use of salicylates and indirect anticoagulants.
According to the instructions, Ascorutin can also be used as part of the complex therapy of diseases associated with impaired vascular permeability: hemorrhages in the retina, hemorrhagic diathesis, radiation sickness, capillary toxicosis, rheumatism, septic endocarditis, glomerulonephritis.

Instructions for the use of Ascorutin and doses

Contraindications to the use of Askorutin
This drug is not prescribed for hypersensitivity to ascorbic acid and routine.
With a tendency to thrombosis and conditions accompanied by hypercoagulability of the blood (high coagulation potential), caution is required when using Ascorutin.
There are no contraindications for taking Ascorutin during pregnancy and lactation.
