Armolipid is a biologically active food supplement (BAA), an additional source of folic acid and astaxanthin.
Release form and composition
Armolipid is available in the form of tablets weighing 799.34 mg (30 pieces per package).
Composition of 1 tablet:
- active ingredients: red fermented rice - 200 mg (equivalent to 3 mg of monacolin), policosanol (from sugar cane) - 10 mg, coenzyme Q10 - 2 mg, astaxanthin (from dry extract of microscopic algae) - 0.5 mg, folic acid - 0.2 mg;
- auxiliary components: microcrystalline cellulose, silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate, calcium phosphate dibasic, monoglycerides and diglycerides of fatty acids.
Component properties
The dietary supplement Armolipid contains the following components:
- red fermented rice - is a source of monacolins, which are identical to statins, inhibits the enzyme HMG-CoA reductase;
- policosanol - increases the number of low-density lipoprotein receptors, increases the reuptake of plasma cholesterol, inhibits the synthesis of HMG-CoA reductase, thereby providing a hypocholesterolemic effect;
- coenzyme Q10 - an antioxidant that is regenerated by the body; participates in the synthesis of ATP, prevents mitochondrial dysfunction, and also reduces the risk of statin-induced myopathy;
- astaxanthin - blocks free radicals in the cell membrane, prevents the transformation of oxidized low density lipoproteins into atheromatous agents;
- folic acid - reduces the risk of blood clots, promotes the conversion of homocysteine to methionine.

Armolipid is used as a biologically active food supplement to reduce cardiovascular risk in cardiovascular diseases.
