Filtrum STI is a naturally occurring enterosorbent used in the treatment of endogenous and exogenous intoxications.

Filtrum STI is an enterosorbent of natural origin, consisting of wood (hydrolysis products of its components). The drug has a high degree of sorption activity and a pronounced detoxification effect. Filtrum STI effectively binds and removes bacterial toxins and pathogenic bacteria from the body, including drugs, heavy metal salts, alcohol, poisons, food allergens.
In addition, Filtrum STI, according to the instructions, also absorbs excess of certain metabolic products - cholesterol, bilirubin, urea, as well as metabolites that cause endogenous toxicosis. One of the advantages of the drug is its non-toxicity.
Release form
Filtrum STI is produced in the form of dark brown flat-cylindrical tablets containing the active component (hydrolytic lignin) in an amount of 400 mg.

Method of application Filtrum STI
Filtrum STI is taken orally, pre-chopped, observing an interval of one hour with food or other medications.
A single dose of Filtrum STI, according to the instructions, depends on the severity of the course of the disease, as well as age:
- Children from one year old - ½ tablet;
- 1-3 years - ½-1 tablets;
- 4-7 years old - one tablet;
- 7-12 years old - one to two tablets;
- Adults and children from 12 years old - 2-3 tablets.
The medicine should be taken three to four times a day, the duration is usually:
- In the treatment of acute conditions - 3-5 days;
- In the treatment of chronic intoxications and allergic diseases - from two to three weeks.

Drug interactions
Since there may be a decrease in the therapeutic effect with the simultaneous use of Filtrum STI with other medications, an interval of at least an hour must be observed between taking them.
