Side effects

Due to the use of prifinium bromide, such side effects are rarely noted: violation of accommodation, dry mouth, constipation. They go away on their own after lowering the dose or discontinuing the drug.

special instructions

Taking anticholinergic drugs can cause an increase in intraocular pressure.

In patients with prostatic hypertrophy, the frequency of urination decreases, while the maximum bladder volume increases, which leads to a worsening of dysuria.

There are no contraindications for taking prifinium bromide during pregnancy and lactation.

Drug interactions

Prifinium bromide enhances the effect of antidepressants, narcotic analgesics, antipsychotic and antihistamines (neuroleptics), M-anticholinergic and antiparkinsonian drugs, and therefore the risk of potentiation of their side effects increases.
