Indications for use

The use of Intesti-bacteriophage is indicated for the prevention and treatment of the following gastrointestinal pathologies caused by the following bacteria Salmonella spp., Dysentery, Escherichia coli, Enterococcus spp., Proteus spp., Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Staphylococcus spp. or their combination:

  • dysbiosis;
  • bacterial dysentery;
  • dyspepsia;
  • salmonellosis;
  • colitis, enterocolitis.

Contraindications

Intesti-bacteriophage should not be used in case of individual intolerance to the drug components.

Instructions for use of Intesti-bacteriophage: method and dosage

The solution is taken orally or injected rectally from the first day of the disease.

The dose of the drug is prescribed by the doctor, taking into account clinical indications. The use of the drug should be started after preliminary determination of the phage sensitivity of the pathogen.

The recommended treatment regimen for adults: inside - 4 times a day, 0.5-1 hour before meals; the duration of treatment is 7-10 days.

Treatment of children in the first months of life should be started with the drug diluted in boiled water in a ratio of 1 to 2. If the child does not develop unwanted reactions in the form of regurgitation and skin rashes after 2 days of therapy, then the bacteriophage can be used undiluted.

With indomitable vomiting, the child is prescribed daily administration of the drug through high enemas (using a gas tube or catheter). If necessary, you can combine rectal (in the form of high enemas) and oral administration of the drug. When treating children, the frequency of oral administration is 3 times a day, 0.5 hours before meals.

Recommended single dose for children, depending on age:

  • 0–0.5 years: inside - 5 ml, rectally - 10 ml;
