Inofert's action is determined by the properties of the active components that make up its composition.
Folic acid is a water-soluble B vitamin (vitamin B 9). It performs an important function in the metabolism of amino acids, the synthesis of nucleic acids and protein, mainly in the production of DNA and RNA (deoxyribonucleic and ribonucleic acids) and chromosome repair. Due to this, folic acid is essential for normal cell division and tissue growth.
The substance is found in liver, green vegetables with large leaves, legumes and eggs. Fruits (excluding oranges), milk and meat contain low levels of vitamin B 9.
