Zakofalk NMX is a biologically active food additive (BAA), an additional source of inulin and butyric acid.
Release form and composition
Zakofalk NMX is available in the form of tablets weighing 1.36 g (10 pcs. In a blister, 3 blisters in a cardboard box).
1 tablet contains:
- active ingredients: calcium butyrate - 0.307 g (equivalent to the content of 0.25 g of butyric acid), inulin - 0.25 g;
- auxiliary components: hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, maltodextrin, microcellulose, sorbitol, modified corn starch, hydrated colloidal silicon dioxide, citric acid, shellac, lecithin, stearic acid, titanium dioxide, triethyl citrate (E1505), hydroxypropyl cellulose (aromatase), magnesium
Component properties
Butyric acid supplies energy to the cells of the colon mucosa and maintains a healthy functional state. It is formed by the breakdown of the normal microflora of the colon of indigestible carbohydrates that come with food. A special technology for the manufacture of tablets (the use of a polymeric multimatrix structure) allows butyric acid, passing through the stomach and small intestine, to enter the large intestine unchanged.
Inulin, a soluble dietary fiber, has a prebiotic effect, creating a breeding ground for intestinal microflora and stimulating the growth of beneficial bacteria. Gut bacteria are involved in the metabolism of inulin, resulting in the formation of endogenous butyric acid.
The release of active substances occurs gradually, throughout the colon.
Indications for use
The use of Zakofalk NMX is indicated to compensate for the deficiency of butyric acid and inulin.
Contraindications
- period of pregnancy;
- breast-feeding;
- individual hypersensitivity to product components.
Recommendations for use
The tablets are taken orally, before meals, swallowing whole.
The daily dose of the product should take into account the initial level of lack of butyric acid and inulin.
Recommended dosage for adults: 3-4 pcs. per day, the duration of the course is at least 30 days.
With a slight deficiency of butyric acid and inulin, the dose can be reduced to 1–2 pcs. in a day.
