Dermazin is an external antibacterial drug used in the treatment of burns and trophic ulcers.

Pharmacological action of Dermazin

The active ingredient of Dermazin has a broad spectrum antibacterial effect.

The cream is active against almost all types of microbes that cause infection of burns and other wounds on the skin surface, including Escherichia coli, Enterobacter spp., Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Staphylococcus spp., Proteus spp., Streptococcus spp., Klebsiella spp., As well as some strains of the herpes virus and yeasts.

Dermazin, when applied to a burned or affected surface, penetrates into necrotic tissues and exudate and inhibits the growth of bacteria due to the slow and continuous release of silver sulfadiazine.

Release form

Dermazin is produced in the form of 1% white cream for external use in cans of 250 g and tubes of 50 g. 1 g of cream contains 10 mg of silver sulfadiazine.
