Delecite is a nootropic drug, a centrally acting cholinomimetic.

Release form and composition

Dosage forms:

  • capsules: gelatinous, oval, with a soft, opaque yellow shell, inside the capsules - a colorless solution with a viscous structure (14 pcs. in a blister, 1 blister in a cardboard box);
  • solution for infusion and intramuscular (i / m) administration: clear, colorless liquid (4 ml in an ampoule, in a blister strip packaging 3 or 5 ampoules, in a cardboard box 1 package);
  • oral solution: colorless liquid with a transparent structure (7 ml in a glass bottle of dark color, in a cardboard box of 10 bottles).

1 capsule contains:

  • active substance: choline alfoscerate - 0.4 g;
  • auxiliary components: glycerol, purified water;
  • shell composition: titanium dioxide (E171), esitol, sodium methyl parahydroxybenzoate, sorbitan, sodium propyl parahydroxybenzoate, iron dye yellow oxide (E172), gelatin.

1 ampoule contains:

  • active substance: choline alfoscerate - 1 g;
  • auxiliary component: water for injection.

1 bottle contains:

  • active substance: choline alfoscerate - 0.6 g;
  • auxiliary components: sodium saccharinate, methyl parahydroxybenzoate, orange flavor, propyl parahydroxybenzoate, purified water.

Indications for use

The use of Delecite is indicated in the complex therapy of the following conditions:

  • psychoorganic syndrome in degenerative pathologies and involutional processes in the cerebral cortex or cerebrovascular insufficiency, including primary and secondary senile cognitive impairments;
  • multi-infarction dementia.

Contraindications

  • acute stage of hemorrhagic stroke;
  • period of pregnancy;
  • breast-feeding;
  • childhood;
  • individual intolerance to the components of the drug.

Method of administration and dosage

Capsules

Capsules are taken orally before meals with plenty of water.

Recommended dosage: 1 pc. 3 times a day. The duration of the course is 90-180 days.

Solution for infusion and i / m administration

The solution is intended for intravenous (intravenous) drip or intramuscular injection in acute conditions or the inability to take the drug inside.

A solution for intravenous administration is prepared by dissolving the contents of one ampoule in 50 ml of 0.9% sodium chloride solution, the infusion rate should not exceed 60–80 drops per minute.

Recommended dosage: 1 ampoule per day for 10 days, then the patient is transferred to oral administration of the drug. The duration of the general course of treatment is 90-180 days.

Oral solution

The solution is taken orally before meals with the required amount of water.

Recommended dosage: 1 bottle 2 times a day for 90-180 days.
