Vitix is a series of drugs used to restore normal melanin levels in skin cells affected by vitiligo and prevent the progression of the disease. Tablets are a biologically active additive (BAA), a source of superoxide dismutase and catalase (antioxidants contained in melon extract), vitamins, trace elements necessary for the treatment of vitiligo; their intake is also effective in treating nervous stress. Regulator gel is a cosmetic product, a source of polyphenols, intended for skin care in depigmented areas.
Release form and composition
- gel regulator: cosmetic gel, 50 ml in tubes, 1 tube in a cardboard box;
- tablets 0.5 g: 15 pcs. in blisters, in a carton 2 blisters.
1 g of Vitix gel contains:
- active ingredients (extract from a special kind of melon Cucumis melo - 2% of the total): superoxide dismutase - 14 units; catalase - 2000 units; coenzyme Q 10 - 0.11 mg; lipoic acid - 0.04 mg; glutathione - 6.6 mg; potassium - 9.1 mg; magnesium - 0.4 mg; sodium - 0.1 mg;
- auxiliary components: purified diethylene glycol monoethyl ether (ethoxydiglycol) - 5%; preservative (Propylene Glycol & Diazolidinyl Urea & Methylparaben & Propylparaben) - 1%; viscosity or gelation enhancer (carbomer) - 0.33%; thickener (Acrylates / C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer) - 0.17%; sodium hydroxide (Sodium Hydroxide) - regulator of the pH level up to 5.5-0.081%; water - 91.419%.
The ratio of nutrients in the Vitix gel: proteins - 2%, carbohydrates - 15%, fats - 80%.
1 tablet contains active ingredients: Extramel Microsphers (extract from a special type of melon containing catalase and superoxide dismutase) - 15 mg; selenium fermented in brewer's yeast (0.1%) - 0.075 mg; copper gluconate - 15 mg; zinc gluconate - 100 mg; folic acid - 0.2 mg; vitamin B 12 - 0.001 mg; vitamin C - 60 mg; vitamin E - 10 mg.
Component properties
Vitix gel has a qualitatively new effect on the skin affected by vitiligo due to its unique ability to restore physiological balance between free radicals, such as superoxide O 2, hydroxyl OH - and others, and antioxidants in melanocytes and keratinocytes (epidermal cells). This property of the gel is due to the presence in its composition of a patented active substance saturated with antioxidants, released from light finger pressure and a slight increase in temperature when applied to the affected skin.
Vitamins and minerals contained in Vitix tablets are designed to compensate for their deficiency in the body. In the course of scientific research, it was revealed that it was their absence that influenced the pathogenesis of vitiligo, and the intake of Vitix supplements often had a positive effect on the course of the disease.
Indications for use
Vitix gel is recommended for use as a cosmetic for depigmented skin.
In addition to the therapeutic care of the skin affected by vitiligo, it is recommended to use Vitix supplement in the form of tablets simultaneously with the gel.
Contraindications
There are no contraindications to the use of the gel.
Tablets are not recommended to be taken during pregnancy, during breastfeeding (lactation), as well as in case of increased individual sensitivity to any of the components.
Recommendations for use
Vitix gel is applied to the previously cleansed and dry skin of areas affected by vitiligo, with the involvement of contours, with slightly warmed fingers. After it is completely absorbed, it is permissible to apply a regular skin care cream, as well as other cosmetics. The effectiveness of using the gel increases if at the same time, only as directed by a dermatologist, a narrow-band PUVA (Psoralen + Ultraviolet A) -therapy is performed - a combination of Psoralen's reception with long-wave ultraviolet radiation A.
Recommended regimen for applying the gel: 2 times a day - morning and evening. The average duration of the course, depending on the patient's age, the duration of the disease and the size of the depigmented skin areas: 6-12 months or more. At the initial stage of using the gel (from 2 to 3 months), one should not expect visible results, since the balancing of free radicals occurs at the immunological level, after which the restoration of pigmentation begins according to one of the following options:
- follicular repigmentation - the appearance of individual pigment dots on white spots;
- peripheral repigmentation - even, gradual painting of spots from the edges to the middle;
- diffuse repigmentation is an uneven change in skin color in lesions.
Vitix tablets are taken orally 1 pc. a day during meals. The duration of the course is 1 month.
special instructions
Vitix tablets and gel are not drugs. Before using them, you should consult your doctor.
Usually, the gel is easy to apply, has good tolerance, but side reactions in the form of erythema or (more rarely) itching are possible. None of these side effects is a reason for interrupting the course.
The use of Vitix gel in combination with tablets can increase the effectiveness of vitiligo therapy by 30-40%.

Keep out of the reach of children.
Store tablets in a dark, dry place at a temperature not exceeding 25 ° C.
The shelf life of the tablets is 3 years.
