Release form and composition
Dosage form - ointment for external use, white or white with a slight shade of yellow, with the smell of turpentine or camphor (aluminum tubes, 30 or 50 g, in a cardboard box - 1 pc.).
Content of active ingredients in 1 g of ointment:
- Common viper venom - 0.05 IU;
- Turpentine gum - 30 mg;
- Camphor - 30 mg;
- Salicylic Acid - 10 mg
Excipients: medical petrolatum, emulsifier, solid paraffins, distilled glycerin, sodium chloride, purified water.

Pharmacodynamics
Viprosal B is a combined external preparation containing viper venom. It has a local analgesic and irritating effect.
The mechanism of action is associated with irritation of sensitive receptors of the subcutaneous tissue and skin, vasodilation and improvement of tissue trophism.
Indications for use
- Radiculitis;
- Pain syndrome in arthritis of various etiologies;
- Sciatica;
- Myalgia;
- Neuralgia.
Contraindications
Viprosal B ointment with viper venom is contraindicated in the following cases:
- Skin diseases, including allergic and purulent;
- Severe violations of liver and / or kidney function;
- Severe insufficiency of the coronary and cerebral circulation;
- Pulmonary tuberculosis in the active phase;
- General exhaustion;
- Feverish conditions;
- Tendency to angiospasm;
- The period of pregnancy and breastfeeding;
- Hypersensitivity to drug components.
Instructions for the use of Viprosal B: method and dosage
The ointment is applied in a thin layer to painful areas of the body and rubbed into the skin with light movements.
A single dose - 5-10 g, the procedure is recommended to be carried out 1-2 times a day, depending on the pain syndrome.
The treatment period is 10 days.
It is recommended to wash your hands thoroughly after using the drug.
