BioGaya is a biologically active food supplement (BAA) for restoring intestinal microflora in children from the neonatal period; does not contain preservatives, milk proteins and lactose.
Release form and composition
Dosage form - drops for oral administration (5 ml each in dark glass vials, equipped with a screw cap with a first opening indicator and a pipette with a desiccant inside, 1 bottle in a cardboard box).
5 drops of probiotic contains:
- active ingredients: Lactobacillus reuteri DSM 17938 - 10 8 CFU (100 million viable bacteria), sucrose - 5 mg;
- auxiliary components: sunflower oil, caprylic triglycerides, silicon dioxide (E 551).
Indications for use
BioGaia baby drops are recommended to be taken as an additional source of live lactic acid bacteria L. reuteri DSM 17938 in the following cases:
- restoration of intestinal microflora in children from birth;
- normalization of intestinal microflora in children with intestinal colic;
- activation of the immune system.
The drug is also used in the complex therapy of such conditions / diseases:
- bacterial and fungal infections in premature newborns;
- inflammatory diseases of the digestive tract;
- infection by Helicobacter Pylori (Helicobacter Pylori);
- allergic conditions (including children's diathesis and atopic dermatitis);
- intestinal disorders during adaptation (change of residence, the beginning of attending a kindergarten, school).

Method of administration and dosage
The drops should be taken orally. Shake well before use.
It is recommended to give the drug in a spoon. It is allowed to add it to water, milk, other liquid or food, drops of BioGay do not change the taste of food and drinks.
The dosage regimen for children from birth is 5 drops 1-2 times / day.
